Panorama views of Salzburg from Moenchsberg and Cafe Stein
The best view over Salzburg is definately from the Mönchsberg - easy to reach within minutes with
the special elevator we enjoy a breathtaking view over the whole city and beyond. The elevator can be found at
the Museumsplatz, where also the Cafe Republic and the
Haus der Natur Museum is located.
One of the current insider tips is the Cafe Stein. Located directly at the bank of River Salzach you'll have
a breathtaking view over the whole city, including the medieval castle.
Booking or reservation of a table is not a must, but on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays it
is recommended to avoid waiting for a table.
