Obersalzberg - Berghof - Hotel Obersalzberg - Eagle's Nest - Bunker of Hitler

Construction of the Nazi complex started in 1935, where Adolf Hitler already had his house "Haus Wachenfeld", which was later renamed into "Berghof". Reichskanzler Göring also had a house nearby and many people visited the site back then, to see the Führer.

Over the years the site was heavily reconstructed, bunkers were added, aswell as accommodation facilities for Hitler's Leibstandarte (bodyguards). Today there is a museum located at the Obersalzburg, aswell as a new hotel - the Hotel Obersalzberg.
