Mozart's Birthplace in Salzburg
In the middle of the Getreidegasse - Salzburg's famous medieval shopping alley - you will find the birthplace of Mozart.
Mozart was born in this house on January, 27th 1756 and died in Vienna December, 5th 1791. He wrote many famous operas
such as "Idomeneo", "Abduction from the Seraglio", "Le nozze di Figaro" ("Marriage of Figaro"), "Don Giovanni",
"Così fan tutte", "The Magic Flute" and many symphonies, serenades, Piano concerti ... Book your hotel room,

Opposite of Mozart's birthplace, there is the Hagenauerplatz. If you proceed thru the old medieval gate - once part of the
city wall - you will reach the bank of the river Salzach with a beautiful view to the Kapuziner mountain.
