Cathedral of Salzburg - Jedermann

On our way from the Kollegienkirche to the cathedral we have a wonderful view at the medieval castle:

After proceeding thru the main gate, we're standing on the Domplatz with the cathedral.
The famous annual play "Jedermann" is held at this outstanding location during the Salzburger Festspiele (Salzburger Festival - make sure you book your hotel room, festival tickets, theater tickets and concert tickets well in advance):

We exit the Domplatz right of the cathedral and enter the Kapitelplatz with a marvelous view to the castle again:

Now we walk behind the cathedral and soon we reach the Mozartplatz with Mozart's Memorial:

While being at the Mozartplatz, enjoy the view to the Residenzplatz and the cathedral:
