Whether it&#8217;s your first or twentieth visit, tours are a wonderful way to better understand and appreciate our garden spaces. <\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img data-opt-id=165554599  fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmedia.japanesegarden.org\/cb:NhfT.31879\/w:788\/h:525\/q:mauto\/rt:fill\/g:ce\/f:best\/id:b9ae6dfb061e2c3010f5c8888c7a6bb9\/https:\/\/japanesegarden.org\/Peter-Friedman_Volunteer-Guides-andTours-52-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22986 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><a class=\"button \" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.japanesegarden.org\/events\">Book Now<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Public tours are available every day during the high season (April-September) at 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, and 2:15pm. <strong>Tour times on Tuesdays are at 12:15pm and 2:15pm only<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To ensure the Garden remains tranquil for our visitors, tours are limited to 10 people and reservations are required.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please limit your tour reservation to no more than 5 tickets per party to allow for other guests to enjoy the tour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More details:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tours take place outside in the rain or shine. Please dress appropriately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tours last approximately one hour.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet your tour guide in the Tateuchi Courtyard at the \u201cTour Start\u201d sign in front of the Ellie M. Hill Bonsai Terrace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tours start promptly. Late arrivals will forfeit their tour reservations. Please make sure you give yourself enough time to find parking and enter the Garden. We recommend 30 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Garden opens for general admission at 10:00am. For guests who want to join the first public tour of the day at 10:15am, please <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.japanesegarden.org\/events\">pre-purchase your tickets<\/a> for a 10:00am entry time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tours are subject to volunteer guide availability. The Cultural Village, upper Flat Garden, and the Pavilion are accessible for patrons with mobility restrictions. All restrooms have accessible stalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will do our best to accommodate your needs when you arrive.&nbsp; We need, however, 2-3 weeks advance notice for some specific requests.
